CIB Sunday #17 – ‘The Evil Within’

The Evil Within is absolutely one of my favorite video games of all time. It was the first game I ever played on the PlayStation 4 system, and for that, it will also forever have a special place in my heart. I still have very fond memories of this title, but my attachment to it isn't just a result of sentimentality. CIB Sunday #16 – ‘The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan’

'Man of Medan' is the first entry in 'The Dark Pictures Anthology' series, a saga of horrifying, stand-alone tales. 'Corpse Party' is a series I'd heard about for a long time, being a big fan of horror video games. However, the games were only available on Steam and PS Vita for a long time, and I didn't have access to either back then. A few years ago, I was browsing 3DS video games on Amazon, when I saw that a remake of the original 'Corpse Party' was available for pre-order. I ended up being gifted the game that same year for Christmas, and of course, started playing it right away. Did it live up to all the hype, though? I certainly think so. There are several key reasons why the game is so good, a few of which I'll be going over in this post. Read on to find out more!
