'White Day: A Labyrinth Named School,' for Android, iOS, PC, and PlayStation 4, is actually a remake of the original 'White Day' video game from 2001. Although I didn't have a chance to play the original, I happened to see the remake available on Amazon for pre-order one day. I was immediately intrigued; I was so drawn in by the game's description and screenshots. Plus, we don't have a ton of Asian horror video games being localized for overseas audiences, so it's always great to see a new one. So, I just had to pre-order the game, and I'm so glad I did!
I'm a huge fan of the original 'Luigi's Mansion' game for GameCube. It's one of my all time favorites on any game system, and I truly never tire of playing it. I enjoyed the 3DS port of it immensely as well. This title was a significant part of my childhood; I played it for hours and hours, even coming back to replay the entire game a few different times. So, I was super excited for 'Dark Moon' to come out! But, did the game hold up to my high expectations?
'Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked' is actually a port of the 'Devil Survivor' DS game from 2009. The original was widely considered to be a great RPG video game, and the port version provides several enhancements upon it. Some of these improvements include new voice-acting and a brand new eighth chapter to explore. The game was well-received enough to warrant a 3DS port with new features, so you may be wondering, what exactly makes 'Devil Survivor' so good? Well, there are a few key reasons.
I've been thinking about some things in relation to my CIB Sunday feature here on the blog. To that end, I made a Twitter poll asking if people would also be interested in seeing Xbox One and PlayStation 4 video games, even though they often include less materials (they typically don't have instruction booklets, extra manuals, etc.). I'll have the link to the Twitter poll included below, and if you don't have Twitter, I'm going to include a poll here on WordPress as well. It would really help me out if you vote, and I'd appreciate it so much. Thank you!
'Virtue's Last Reward' is the second installment in the hit 'Zero Escape' trilogy and is a follow-up to 'Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors'. Out of all the 3DS games in my collection, 'Virtue's Last Reward' is definitely one of my favorites. I loved the first 'Zero Escape' title, and the sequel certainly didn't disappoint. There are many reasons why 'Virtue's Last Reward' is such a great game; I'll be touching on just a few of the most important ones throughout this post.
