CIB Sunday #17 – ‘The Evil Within’

The Evil Within is absolutely one of my favorite video games of all time. It was the first game I ever played on the PlayStation 4 system, and for that, it will also forever have a special place in my heart. I still have very fond memories of this title, but my attachment to it isn't just a result of sentimentality. There are a great many reasons why this particular game is so good, and I'll be going over some of the main reasons today.

CIB Sunday #16 – ‘The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan’

'Man of Medan' is the first entry in 'The Dark Pictures Anthology' series, a saga of horrifying, stand-alone tales. It was developed by Supermassive Games, the studio behind the smash-hit 'Until Dawn.' I played 'Until Dawn' when it first came out and absolutely loved the game. CIB Sunday #14 – ‘White Day: A Labyrinth Named School’

'White Day: A Labyrinth Named School,' for Android, iOS, PC, and PlayStation 4, is actually a remake of the original 'White Day' video game from 2001. Although I didn't have a chance to play the original, I happened to see the remake available on Amazon for pre-order one day. I was immediately intrigued; I was so drawn in by the game's description and screenshots. Plus, we don't have a ton of Asian horror video games being localized for overseas audiences, so it's always great to see a new one. So, I just had to pre-order the game, and I'm so glad I did!

CIB Sunday #13 – ‘Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon’

I'm a huge fan of the original 'Luigi's Mansion' game for GameCube. It's one of my all time favorites on any game system, and I truly never tire of playing it. I enjoyed the 3DS port of it immensely as well. This title was a significant part of my childhood; I played it for hours and hours, even coming back to replay the entire game a few different times. So, I was super excited for 'Dark Moon' to come out! But, did the game hold up to my high expectations?
