Passing of the Seasons

Photo by Guillaume Meurice on Pexels.com

Resting among the scattered auburn leaves,

I dread how the seasons fade like old friends

Once here, then suddenly gone

They switch from one to another,

Always so fleeting and temporary

They are like a bittersweet dream

Change is inevitable, this I know

But, with each season’s passing,

I can’t help but hope it’ll remain

For just a little while longer this time

    1. Yeah, I really love this picture! The photographer did a fantastic job of capturing fall and what makes it so beautiful. Thank you for reading my posts and commenting on them all the time! I really appreciate it. 🍂
