Posed at the large glass screen doors,
A figure wrapped in crimson awaits
Long, bony fingers rest on
The translucent surface,
Threatening to shatter its fragile existence
At any moment
Limbs sprout from deathly pale skin,
Like a spider’s legs
Scraggly black hair that wisps
As her lips arch into a crooked smile
With a shrill laugh, the creature asks,
“Won’t you let me in, little child?
Mrs. Claus just wants a tiny nibble!”

This poem was inspired by an incredible piece of art from talented concept artist, @tutankart on Twitter. In particular, this image inspired my imagination to run wild and create this horror/Christmas themed poem. I can’t even describe how amazing this art is. The overall design of Mrs. Claus, the composition, the color scheme; everything’s just great.
If you haven’t already, head on over to Twitter and check out Tutank’s wonderful art! Let’s support this talented artist!
